Patsy Krebs

"The artist positions herself within a tradition that poses an alternative to external inundation. Both at first glance and in the end her works remind us of what it is to have a direct, unmediated experience."
     - Nancy Doll, Director
     - Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum

"...the paintings' surface start to become eerily and delightfully unstable, their quietly divergent colors interpenetrating each other in almost fugal way...[Their] unassuming objecthood slowly transforms itself into a specter of psychic and material generosity."
     - Mark Van Proyen
     - in Art in America
